Since school is out, I haven't had much to write about. John and I haven't done much this summer yet. Between my workshops and his summer school stuff that he's been working on, well, we've just been homebodies for the most part. We've gone shopping a bit and done a few little together things...like spending time at Barnes and Nobel, but our summer has been been pretty uneventful. Until Wednesday.
I got a new phone! Woohoo! It meant getting rid of the coca cola phone, but it was worth it. It's small and has a full keyboard for texting. So if you've been hearing from me via text, you'll understand why. Plus, and here's the bonus, it's PURPLE! Woohoo!
So that's it. My big excitement so far this summer. Oh, and John won $350 at the casino last Sunday. But I got a new purple phone!
In two weeks I go to Williamsburg. I hope to have more exciting things to talk about.

Purple phone, huh? Some people get so happy over the oddest things! Excuse me while I go do some laundry....a-hum....I want to celebrate your news! ;)
A new purple phone, well how nice. Did you ever think about using that phone to call you big brother? Well, alright then.
He is worried about you, and his dog, Willy, is upset that you have not yet called him!!!
