I'm on vacation

It's been awhile since I've written but there is a very good reason for that...I'm on vacation! Just saying that word can put a smile on your face. Vacation. Another warm fuzzy moment.

Anyway, we've traveled north to attend the event of the year. My nephew, Jake, is getting married! Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday he had a toothless smile and was running around the yard to make sure all his flags were straight! But here he is getting married. We've been looking forward to coming home for this event for a long time. I've been able to catch up with most of the family and will be able to meet and greet a few extended family members that you just never see unless there's a wedding or funeral.

Tomorrow is the big day so I'll be writing more about the wedding and hopefully posting a picture or two. I'm sure there will be some good kodak moments that I'll want to share.

In the meantime, I'm still on vacation and loving every minute of it. Our hosts are doing a fabulous job of keeping us entertained, well hydrated, and fed. Uncle Joe and Aunt Lucy, you're the best!
